Interior of the farmhouse

Rich in character, the farmhouse interior is large enough to accommodate formal dining for sixty guests.

The Nipmuc Lodge was one of the earliest homes in Scituate just adjacent to the now abandoned Nipmuc Quarry, which provided most of the building foundation and structural stone for many historic homes in Rhode Island. It is located off of Old Plainfield Pike, a short walk from the old stage route from Providence to Plainfield Connecticut. Hence the name OLd Plainfield Pike.
